Stretch therapy questions
What is Performance Stretch Therapy?
Performance Stretch Therapy is one-on-one assisted stretching. Your stretch specialist guides your body through stretches you can’t easily do on your own, working with your feedback to improve flexibility, range of motion, and how you move.
How is stretch therapy different from massage?
Massage works directly on your muscles to ease tension and pain. Stretch therapy moves your muscles and joints through their range of motion to improve flexibility and mobility. They work well together, and many clients use both.
Does assisted stretching hurt?
No. You should feel a good stretch, but it should never be painful. Your specialist checks in with you the whole time and adjusts to what feels right. Some people feel a little sore the next day, like after a workout.
How often should I get stretch therapy?
Once a week is a great place to start. If you have a lot of tightness or a specific goal, you may want to come more often at first. Flexibility builds over time, so regular sessions bring the best results.
Do I need to be flexible to start?
Not at all. Stretch therapy is for every body, including people who feel very stiff. Your specialist works within your current range and builds from there, so you never have to force anything.
What should I wear to a stretch session?
Wear close-fitting, comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring clean grip socks and water. You stay fully dressed for the whole session.
How much does stretch therapy cost?
A 50-minute session is $99. New clients can book a 50-minute intro session for $88. A four-pack is $380, and a 40-minute add-on with a regular-priced personal training session is $75. All sessions are good for one year.
